DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that the 2025 NAPB annual meeting will be held May 19-23 in Kona\, Hawai‘i Island. The meeting will take place at the Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa. In preparation NAPB is offering up to $1\,000 in reimbursement to 40 US based students and 10 early career scientists (within 7 years of highest degree earned) who are NAPB members. All awardees will be required to participate in the poster session. This award can only be used for travel expenses; it cannot be used for conference registration. Those interested will need to apply by December 31\, 2024. The link to apply has been sent to all members. We look forward to seeing you in Hawai‘i. \nThe NAPB annual meeting provides unique opportunities for private and public sector plant breeders and students to network and build professional relationships. Experts from 40+ crops share innovative breeding strategies and discuss emerging technologies to advance the science of crop improvement.
