It is with great pleasure and pride that we present you this first issue of the magazine, which surely will be a must-read material for those of us who work and are related to the agricultural sector, with emphasis on seeds.
As many of you already know, the Seed Association of the Americas (SAA) is an organization that represents the interests of the seed industry throughout the Americas. The SAA seeks to promote the development, commercialization and free movement of seeds in the region, as well as to advocate for science-based legislation and regulatory frameworks.
In the search for new communication channels to reach our different audiences, we have signed an agreement with Seed World Group, a leading media company in terms of communication of issues related to the seed sector, to jointly develop the first Seed World LATAM magazine. This magazine is crafted in response to the desire and demand of many of the members of the seed sector in the Americas and globally, to have a means of dissemination of the issues that are a priority for us as a region.
Its appearance marks the beginning of a new space to disseminate information about the seed market, its challenges, opportunities and future prospects, representing a unique opportunity to be informed and keep up to date with the latest trends, but also to promote its services and products among its target audiences.
We would like to take this opportunity to invite all national seed associations, companies, institutions and universities linked to the seed sector in the Americas to contribute to this new space with original articles, studies or research to be published in this magazine, which will initially have two annual issues, being printed and distributed in the Americas in Spanish, and available digitally in Spanish and English.
