On Aug. 20, 2025, ANPROS held the largest edition of its National Seed Congress — a major success that brought together 700 attendees, 10 exhibitors and 25 sponsors.

More than numbers, the congress marked a step forward and delivered concrete learnings. Full rooms, direct questions and active corridor conversations reflected a shared conviction: the seed of the future had already germinated — and Chile was ready to lead.

The event gathered nearly all ANPROS member companies, outstanding exhibitors, the National Director of SAG, the former Minister of Agriculture and other key authorities.

The day highlighted several key points:

  • Innovation was already embedded in daily work, with tools to anticipate yields, more precise seed selection, and digital and automated processes that streamlined operations without losing quality.
  • Quality and phytosanitary protection continued to be ANPROS’ hallmark, backed by rigorous protocols and professional teams that reinforced Chile’s counter season role.
  • Markets revealed opportunities to expand through innovation, technology and logistics — from meeting shipping deadlines to coordinating field-plant-port operations.
  • Sustainability was shown in practice: efficient water and energy use, and soil care to produce more and better. Chile once again stood out for its leadership in this area.

Looking forward, the global market would require sustainable production, climate-adapted and high-quality seeds, higher standards of traceability and biosecurity, and the adoption of new technologies. ANPROS emphasized that Chile had a real opportunity to consolidate its position as a reliable partner.

The congress also underscored the importance of people: training, attracting and retaining talent, and strengthening alliances with universities, authorities and the wider agricultural sector.

Beyond the figures, ANPROS stressed that the congress offered something equally valuable — the joy of reunion. More than an event, it was a space for camaraderie, conversation and direct dialogue among colleagues and partners. The atmosphere was reflected in the images: laughter, collaboration and energy to carry forward.

ANPROS thanked its members for their participation and contributions, and its 25 sponsors for their genuine support. Presentations and a photo gallery were shared, with more to come soon.
