If you’re looking to scale seed production, expand R&D capacity, or accelerate the path to market, you’re not alone. The demands on modern seed businesses are bigger, faster, and more complex than ever. That’s why companies are looking for integrated, flexible service platforms that offer more than just acres and equipment. They need trusted partners who can deliver results from the first cross to the final lot.
Enter Agrality.
Over the past decade, Agrality has quietly built a U.S.-based network designed specifically to support seed companies that need agility, precision, and scale in:
- breeding & field trialing
- foundation & commercial seed production
- processing & manufacturing
- warehousing & distribution
What started with a single experimental station in Indiana has grown into a multi-state, multi-functional operation designed to support the changing needs of North American seed companies.
“We saw an opportunity to create something unique,” says Juan Cruz Lizarralde, Agrality’s CEO. “We built a system that could flex with clients’ needs while delivering the consistency and scientific rigor the seed industry demands.”
Collaboration as Strategy
Agrality’s approach to growth isn’t just about scale or deliverables, it’s about relationships.
“Success today depends on collaboration,” says Lizarralde. “But not just any collaboration. It has to be intentional, transparent, and anchored in trust.”
This philosophy has shaped how Agrality approaches both growth and client engagement. Whether supporting clients’ commercial scale-up or helping them navigate regulatory hurdles, Agrality works shoulder-to-shoulder with clients, aligning on goals, sharing accountability, and building systems that scale together.
Expansion Aligned with Industry Needs
When a client’s operation needs to move beyond its own capacity limits, Agrality’s infrastructure is built to support seamless scale-up. That’s why their growth has focused on the strategic acquisition of facilities and companies that diversify their deliverables and expand their geographic reach.
Agrality’s story started in Lafayette, Indiana, where in 2017 it launched its Home Farm. More than a fully equipped experimental station, the Home Farm became Agrality’s strategic hub for counter-season projects, elite breeding programs, and foundation seed production for clients across the region. It was Agrality’s first major foothold—and just the beginning.
Recognizing the need for broader geographic reach and production diversity, Agrality added a second experimental station in North Dakota in 2018, expanding its reach across growing zones and climatic conditions.
Then, it acquired Mendon Seed Growers in Michigan in 2021, significantly advancing its drying, shelling, and conditioning capacity. Most recently, Agrality in 2023 added Nebraska Irrigated Seeds (NIS) to its portfolio, bringing advanced corn drying infrastructure, multi-crop processing capabilities, and a team of more than 40 seed professionals.

Global Support, Local Service
Agrality’s footprint doesn’t stop at the border. With active production hubs in Argentina and Brazil, the company offers year-round services and counter-season solutions that bridge seasons, markets, and milestones. For clients, this means added flexibility, especially for programs requiring staggered production timelines or year-round development cycles.
Ready for What’s Next
The future of seed is integrated, data-driven, and built on trust. If you’re ready to grow what’s next, Agrality is ready to grow with you.
