CUCURBITACEAE 2018 Seeks Abstract Submissions

This year cucurbit scientists from around the world will gather Nov. 12-16 at the University of California, Davis, to explore new frontiers of research and development. Researchers in this area are encouraged to register for the conference and submit abstracts.

Early bird registration opened March 13 and is available online at http://cucurbit2018.ucdavis.edu/2018/01/17/registration-and-abstract-submission/. Registration is $550 per person until June 30. At that time, the registration rate increases to $700 per person. Students receive a discounted registration rate at $250 per person. Registration fees include the opening reception, all sessions, all conference meals and the conference program. In addition, option tours are being organized.

Individuals interested in presenting at the conference, should submit talk abstracts to the organizing committee by July 1. Post abstracts are due Oct. 1. Both can be submitted online at https://app.oxfordabstracts.com/login?redirect=/stages/516/submission. Before submitting an abstract, individuals must first register for the conference.

Sessions will focus on genomics, breeding and genetics, production and quality, abiotic and biotic stresses, resistance issues, floral and fruit development, and genetic determinates of cucurbit fruit quality.
