At Euroseeds 2023, held this year in St Julian’s, Malta, Siuzana Grygorenko, Executive Director for the Seed Association of the Ukraine, spoke with Seed World Europe Editorial Director Marcel Bruins. Ukraine had recently adopted the new Euro-integration law regulating seeds and varieties, and Grygorenko explained the upcoming changes for the Ukraine seed sector. She also expanded on the new GM law that had been adopted by the Ukraine Parliament and how the Ukraine seed sector feels about it. They also spoke about the EU countries that had banned the cereal imports from the Ukraine and its impact.
