In a statement on their website, Euroseeds thanked the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU for its commitment and progress on the Plant Reproductive Material (PRM) legislative file.
This file is a cornerstone for the seed sector, supporting innovation, competitiveness, and high standards in European agriculture, according to a press release.
“As an industry that relies on legal clarity and innovation-friendly regulation, we deeply appreciate the efforts made by the Polish Presidency to move the PRM file forward,” said Garlich von Essen, Secretary General of Euroseeds. “We now look to the Danish Presidency to continue this important work and bring the process to a successful conclusion.”
Euroseeds and its members remain committed to supporting the EU institutions in shaping a future-proof framework for plant reproductive material in Europe.
