Attics, LLC, a manufacturer and marketer of branded fungicides, herbicides and insecticides for crop and non-crop professionals, welcomes Shannon Russell as executive vice president of operations and Dave Bolin as director of regulatory affairs.

Russell brings more than 20 years of experience in the global agrichemical industry. He started his career in contract manufacturing at BASF before moving on to Etigra, where he oversaw sourcing and operational relationships while continuing to hone his skills in global market development and sourcing at Nufarm. Most recently, Russell served as founder and CEO of Proventis LifeScience, where he focused on developing products for Brazil and Argentina. He is a chemical engineering graduate of North Carolina State University.
Bolin also brings 20 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Atticus, he worked for Arysta LifeScience as their regulatory affairs lead for North America, Australia and New Zealand. In addition, Bolin has also worked for Tyra Tech and BASF. His experience includes regulatory affairs, product registration, research chemistry, product development and management, as well as business and regulatory negotiations both nationally and globally. He earned a doctorate in chemistry from The Ohio State University, and an MBA from Duke University, and is a member of the Alumni Council Duke Fuqua School of Business.
