Monsanto CEO Hugh Grant Named a Glassdoor Highest-Rated CEO

Monsanto chairman and CEO Hugh Grant has been recognized as a 2015 Glassdoor Highest-Rated CEO. Glassdoor, a jobs and careers online community, released its annual report highlighting the highest-rated CEOs, this year recognizing top leaders in countries throughout North America and parts of Europe.

Among CEOs recognized in the U.S. at large companies, Grant received a 95 percent approval rating based on the anonymous and voluntary reviews Monsanto employees shared on Glassdoor throughout the past year, ranking him among the Top 10 as No. 6.

“I am humbled and honored to have earned this recognition from my colleagues at Monsanto,” says Grant. “It is a privilege to work alongside such dedicated and talented people around the globe, all focused on helping farmers produce enough food to nourish our growing world.”

Earlier this year, Monsanto was named No. 39 on Glassdoor’s 2015 list of the 50 Best Places to Work. In 2014, the company was number 10 on Glassdoor’s list of Top Companies for Compensation and Benefits.

Grant joined Monsanto in 1981 and was appointed CEO in May 2003.
