Kansas-based agrochemical and biotechnology firm SynTech Research and New Jersey’s Symbiotic Research LLC, a laboratory-based life sciences contract research organization, announce an exclusive strategic alliance agreement.
SynTech already provides evaluation and development of agricultural products through its existing global services in field, greenhouse and laboratory efficacy (GEP), residues (GLP) in plants, soils and water, and studies on non-target organisms (pollinators, fish, invertebrates and plants). The SynTech service also covers seeds/traits studies, including laboratory testing for genetics and protein expression, project management/study directorship of GLP programs and global account management.
The alliance will provide a key additional component of this service offering, SynTech says. It also enables Symbiotic Research to offer a comprehensive portfolio of services to their global agrochemical clients.
“We are delighted to form this partnership and gain access to Symbiotic’s services,” says Khosro Khodayari, president of SynTech.
Dan Safarpour, CEO of Symbiotic Research, adds: “We look forward to complementing our strengths with SynTech Research’s field, eco-toxicology services, residue chemistry and focus on quality.”
