Syngenta announces the addition of two new territory managers to its turf and ornamental business. Adam Garr will be working with turf customers in the lower peninsula of Michigan, while Chris Threadgill will be responsible for ornamental business in 13 Midwestern states.
Garr received a bachelor of arts in English from the University of Michigan, and his Golf Turf Management Certificate from Michigan State University. He joins Syngenta with 16 years of experience in the turf industry. For the past 12 years, Garr has worked at Plum Hollow Country Club in Southfield, Michigan, serving as the golf course superintendent for the last six years.
Threadgill received a bachelor of science in agronomy, turfgrass management and a master of science in horticulture, nursery production from Oklahoma State University. He joins Syngenta with more than 28 years of experience in the horticulture industry. Threadgill has held multiple sales and sales management positions at The Scotts Company. Most recently, he has worked with growers in a sales territory for Valent U.S.A. Corporation.
