Euroseeds will host the first NextGen Forum on Wednesday, 22 October 2025, from 9:30am to 12 pm at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC).
This new initiative is designed to connect Europe’s seed sector with emerging talent. The forum will bring together Master’s, PhD students, and postdoctoral researchers from leading Edinburgh universities with senior industry representatives, including CEOs, research directors, and breeders.
The programme will highlight diverse career opportunities in agriculture, plant breeding, and genetics, while fostering dialogue that may lead to mentorships, internships, and long-term professional connections. A maximum of 30 students will be selected to participate, according to a press release.
Applications are open until September 2025. Eligible students are invited to submit proof of enrolment, a brief motivation statement, and a CV to erika.maugeri@euroseeds.eu. Selected candidates will receive a formal invitation with event details.
Further information and application guidelines are available on the Euroseeds Congress website.
