Seed World U.S. is now accepting nominations for Seed World’s 2027 Flower & Veg Seed Difference Makers, celebrating individuals whose ideas, achievements and dedication are making a meaningful impact to the US sector.
They might be established leaders, rising talents or the people working behind the scenes. Some are responsible for major breakthroughs. Others are making meaningful improvements that don’t always get noticed.
You know who is making a difference. Help us make sure the industry knows them, too.
In February 2027, we’ll shine a spotlight on each Difference Maker in Seed World U.S., in print and online, telling the story behind their achievements, celebrating the impact of their work and showing the wider seed industry why they deserve recognition.
Who deserves a place on that list?
From breeders tackling problems others haven’t solved to innovators finding better ways to produce seed, to people challenging long-held industry assumptions, we’re looking for individuals whose work is moving veg and flower seed forward.
Difference Makers don’t all make headlines. Some achieve major breakthroughs. Others find clever solutions to everyday challenges, improve the way things are done, strengthen the teams around them or help the next generation find its footing.
