At the age of 80, Ralph Gale Myers passed away April 6 in Loveland, Colorado. Myers worked 28 years for Nitragin Company, which was bought by Merck KGaA in 1991 and then Novozymes in 2011. He retired as a sales consultant in agriculture.
A native of Daviess County, Indiana, Myers was born Aug. 8, 1937, to Robert Harold and Opha Eagle (Cornett) Myers. He graduated from Epsom High School in 1955 and attended Purdue University. Myers married Marcella Hunter in 1958, and in 1982, the couple moved from Jacksonville, Illinois, to Loveland.
