Announcing the Canadian Plant Breeding Innovation Scholarship Winners

The Canadian Plant Breeding Innovations Awards program has announced its three new scholarship winners.

Scholarships go to students enrolled at a masters or PhD level in plant breeding or plant genetics at either the University of Guelph, University of Alberta, University of Saskatchewan, or the University of Manitoba.

Alexandra Ficht is doing her PhD in plant breeding and Genetics at the University of Guelph. Heather Tso attends the University of Alberta and is working on her masters in plant pathology. Alanna Orsak attends the University of Saskatchewan and is working on her master’s in plant science.
