With the acquisition of Spanish company Simeza Silos Metálicos Zaragoza S.L., Petkus Engineering GmbH (Wutha-Farnroda, Germany) has broadened its product portfolio for the grain logistics’ business. Luca Celeghini, CEO of PETKUS Engineering GmbH has taken on the leadership of Simeza.
According to Petkus, the company will focus on practical, tailor made, complete plant solutions and through its turnkey solution team also offers the realization of civil and utility works. Overall, adding Simeza enhances the Petkus Engineering GmbH portfolio and could strengthen its market position.
Simeza has over 30 years of experience in the grain, flour and industrial product storage business.
While Simeza will continue to independently provide its product program to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Central and South America, a special silo design to enhance the engineering and turnkey projects of Petkus Engineering GmbH will be added.
