Crystal Crop Protection Limited and KeyGene Sign MoU for Tech Partnership

Crystal Crop Protection Limited and KeyGene announced the companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to broaden their crop improvement technology partnership according to a release. The multi-year research collaboration will use KeyGene’s proprietary innovative breeding technologies to improve crops. The MoU was signed by Crystal Crop Protection’s CEO, Satyender Singh, KeyGene’s CEO, Roeland van Ham, and the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte. It was signed during the Netherlands’ trade mission to India on September 11.

India’s Crystal Crop Protection current has breeding programs in crops such as cereals, oil seeds and fiber. KeyGene and Crystal look to discover new traits to improve crop yields and crop resistance to climate change. The products developed will help benefit farmers located in India by increasing their income through these crop improvements.
