The ever-changing landscape in the seed industry takes another change with the recent announcement that Jon Bertolino, Buckhorn Incorporated’s national sales manager of CenterFlow seed boxes, took on a new role as director of sales and Ssrvice with the new seed box service company, SeedBox Solution.
Matt Dannenfeldt, owner of SeedBox Solution is quoted as saying “the time was right to bring Jon on board in 2017. SeedBox Solution had just completed the purchase of Buckhorn’s mobile seed box washer in November of 2016 and we were looking for an industry expert who understands returnable packaging, but more importantly, understands the seed industry from the large multi-nationals to more local independent seed companies.
Jon brings 25 years of industry expertise to SeedBox Solution and he has been actively involved in working with packaging in agriculture for 17 years. We are confident that Jon will be able to bring his knowledge and relationship building skills to SeedBox Solution and help grow our business model.”
SeedBox Solution is a company comprised of industry leading managers with over 75 years combined industry expertise in returnable plastic containers, managed container/ pallet pooling, warehousing, repair and reverse logistics. Jon Bertolino will be responsible for selling and executing SeedBox Solution’s mission which is to identify areas where value and savings can be identified and extracted from returnable reusable container fleets, through implementing alternative washing methods, Return Logistics Centers, container repair and warehousing.
