Aggio Adds Four Business Experts to its Advisory Board

Aggio, a company that helps agribusiness leaders accelerate their business strategies, announces the addition of four industry innovators to its advisory board.

They are:

Gloria Basse, senior executive director with Tonisity and Senior Associate with The Context Network. She formerly served as Vice President, United States Pork Business at Zoetis and has more than 30 years of experience in animal health marketing, sales and leadership roles.

Alexander Bisignano, CEO of Phosphorous, a firm that is building a genomic data network that will help providers, researchers and patients harness the power of the human genome. Prior to Phosphorous, he co-founded Recombine, a clinical genetic testing company. He is a member of Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Society.

Juan Ferreira, former global senior vice president of Crop Protection, Seed Applied Solution-BioAg and Vegetable Seeds for Monsanto. During his 25-year tenure with the company, he held multiple leadership roles, including serving as CEO of Europe and Africa, as CEO of the Latin America South division and as Vice President of Global Marketing and Technology Development. He lived in seven countries on four continents while working with the company. Ferreira currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Commissioners for the St. Louis Science Center, is on the advisory board for the Israel-based startup Seed-X, and is an advisor to the global agricultural investment fund, The Yield Lab.

Santiago Munné, COO & co-founder of Overture Life and Adjunct Professor at Yale Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Yale School of Medicine. Overture is a biotechnology company that focuses on embryology with offices in the United States, United Kingdom and Spain. Munné is a pioneer in Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) of embryos and previously founded the companies Reprogenetics and Recombine. Both are now part of The Cooper Companies (NYSE: COO). He has been cited for excellence by the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology, has published more than 200 peer-reviewed scientific publications and lectures internationally. He co-founded the Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis International Society and held various board positions for 12 years.
