At the 30th Annual Independent Professional Seed Association Conference in Indian Wells, California, Alex Martin sat down with IPSA Scholar Riley Reep, a first year student at Texas Tech University majoring in agriculture communications. Reep was born into a life of agriculture — with her father selling cotton and her grandfather growing and producing hay, she now feels that it’s her job to start sharing the story of agriculture as well. She has her eyes set on public relations, since it’s similar to advertising but without the sales aspect.
