Clean Seed Capital Group Ltd. announces the appointment of Colin Rush as its president. Colin is a senior operations leader with over 25 years’ experience in the North American agricultural equipment and agricultural technology sectors.

Prior to joining Clean Seed Colin held senior positions with John Deere, Case IH (CNHi) and JCB Canada. In 2010 Colin assumed the role of Senior Director of Specialty Business, North America with Case IH one of the world’s largest agricultural equipment manufacturers with significant planting and seeding equipment in all major marketplaces. During his tenure at CNHi Colin significantly increased North American sales and market share for the Company’s nearly $1 billion division of planting, seeding, tillage and application products. Subsequent to his time as Case IH, Colin became the head of Canadian operations for JCB, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of construction and agricultural equipment. During his time leading JCB Canada, Colin doubled the number of agricultural dealers to deliver significant sales growth while increasing sales margin. Colin has been a director of Clean Seed since 2014 and Chief Operating Officer since 2017 and will continue in both of those roles.

In addition, Colin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanized Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan and a Master of Business Administration in Agricultural Economics from the University of Guelph.

Graeme Lempriere, CEO, states “Colin Rush’s track record of success in the agricultural space, significant network both domestically and abroad and outstanding contributions to Clean Seed to date make him the perfect choice to serve as President of our organization as we move to commercialize the SMART Seeder MAX in North America, grow the SMART Seeder MAX distribution network and deploy the Mini-MAX to India. I would also like to thank Gary Anderson for his contributions as President. Gary has been a tremendous resource in supporting the advancement of the Company and its personnel. Most importantly, I look forward to his continuing service as a valued member of our board of directors, as a senior advisor to the executive team and his ongoing support as one of the Company’s largest shareholders”

Gary Anderson has retired as president of the company and has transitioned to a senior advisor role to the executive team. Gary will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company.

“The execution and continued growth of Clean Seed has rested on the strategic vision, relationships, and experience of its Executive Team of which Gary has made tremendous contributions,” Rush says. “I am very excited to enter this new role at Clean Seed as the Company enters a new phase of commercialization and rapid growth. I wish to personally thank Gary for all his efforts and look forward to working alongside him on the board of directors.”

Gary Anderson, director, states, “It has been a great privilege to be part of such a dynamic, creative and driven Executive Team. Clean Seed is extremely fortunate to have someone as steeped in both agricultural markets and leading-edge agricultural technology as Colin Rush. The time is right for Colin to assume the role of President and apply his vast knowledge and inspirational leadership in a broader manner as a continuation of building this exceptional business.”
