East-West Seed appoints Ratiporn Ratcharoen as the new Chief Financial Officer

East-West Seed has announced a change in the Managing Board, with Ratiporn Ratcharoen (Ning) assuming the position of Chief Financial Officer effective April 18, 2022.

Douwe Zijp, Global CEO of East-West Seed, said, “Ratiporn Ratcharoen (Ning) has tremendous experience in finance and a passion for the agricultural sector. She will play a significant role in driving our performance and business transformation. With Ratcharoen joining the team, we will have three women and six nationalities further adding to the range of expertise and international profile on the Managing Board at East-West Seed global headquarters, Bangkok, Thailand.”  

Ratiporn Ratcharoen brings with her over 30 years of experience in various finance roles and business settings in multinational organizations, locally and regionally, where she held senior leadership roles in Finance in manufacturing, distribution, and commercial businesses. She is a certified public accountant and holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Management from Thammasart University and Sasin Graduate Institute, Chulalongkorn University.

As a member of the Managing Board, she will lead the development and execution of strategies and policies to achieve the company’s financial objectives. Ning will have critical responsibilities in supporting business leaders in delivering plans, budgets and ensuring the capital investment decisions are aligned with business strategy and yield the expected returns in line with the company’s objectives.
