Trade policies are constantly evolving and in some cases being challenged through trade wars worldwide. How does trade impact the seed and agricultural sectors?

In the Wednesday, Sept. 6 episode of Seed Speaks our expert panelists will share their knowledge on trade as well as information on new legislation and its impacts on the ag and seed worlds. As we dive into policies and trade wars, we’ll learn about the impact free trade has on agriculture. We’ll also learn about current trade conflicts worldwide.

Michelle Klieger, president of Stratagerm Consulting. Stratagerm Consulting is a food and agricultural consulting firm. Klieger is an agricultural economist with over 15 years of experience in the food and agriculture sector. As an economist and a business consultant, she works with the global seed industry, agtech companies, conventional and non-conventional agriculture firms, and philanthropic foundations. Klieger’s work has taken her around the world, helping industry leaders manage and grow their global businesses. She is a professional speaker, the author of “The Demise of Free Trade”, the host of The Grower & The Economist podcast, and a professor of economics at Bentley University. She holds a masters in agriculture economics from Purdue University and a masters of business administration from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
