Agri-Trend Inc., an independent agricultural coaching company, welcomes Tim Eyrich to its team as director of business development. Eyrich will be responsible for rolling out Agri-Trend’s new Agri-Knowledge Division.
This division will be dedicated to improving knowledge transfer between the scientific community, industry and farmers. According to the company, the launch of Agri-Knowledge completes its full-service model, providing farmers with agricultural coaching, knowledge transfer and a farm-data platform in one complete system.
Prior to joining Agri-Trend, Eyrich served as senior manager of product development for plant nutrition and yield enhancement at WinField Solutions. In his new role, Eyrich will enhance Agri-Trends training, research and grower support services as well as facilitate technology integration from industry to farm level.
“With todays advances in seed genetics, farmers cannot afford to think in silos. The genetics now are incredible,” Eyrich says. “They’ll help you perform so much better if you do understand how the whole system works together, and punish you so much more if you don’t.”
Eyrich will focus on developing both internal and external training programs, building new intelligence into Agri-Trends data platform, Agri-Data, and developing new research protocols.
