The Manitoba Crop Variety Evaluaion Trials (MCVET) Committee has entered into an agreement with Seed World Group to publish Seed Manitoba magazine beginning with the 2026 edition. The partnership will ensure the continued delivery of independent, trusted performance data to Manitoba farmers and industry stakeholders.
Seed Manitoba – Manitoba’s seed guide – has long been regarded as a key decision-making resource for crop variety selection and will also benefit from a newly redesigned seedmb.ca website developed by Seed World Group. The new digital platform aims to enhance access to variety trial data and improve usability across devices.
“We’re pleased to work with a partner that understands the value of independent data and knows how to deliver it to growers in meaningful ways,” says Dennis Lange, provincial pulse specialist with Manitoba Agriculture and co-editor of Seed Manitoba.
“Seed World Group brings a strong track record in the seed industry, and we look forward to working together on future editions.”
“Seed Manitoba plays a critical role in delivering transparent and regional variety information to Manitoba growers,” adds Jennifer Seward, chair of the MCVET Committee and executive director of the Manitoba Seed Growers’ Association. “We’re confident this collaboration will continue to support informed seed choices across the province and enhance our online presence.”
