ISF Virtual Congress 2021 Starts July 5

The ISF Virtual Congress 2021 is only a few weeks away, taking place July 5-7, 2021.

The congress will bring together industry leaders and external partners in a dynamic setup of international panels, keynote speeches, showcase of innovations, and live interactions — open to all via their online platform for free.

The link between food systems, sustainable agriculture, plant breeding innovation, and seed movement will be discussed by a lineup of industry leaders and experts. Participants will have access to the broadcast of the international panels and sponsored content and will be able to participate in the live discussions. The virtual congress also includes a live chat, forum wall, resource centre, and an area to create your profile and interact with other attendees.

On May 5, ISF announced that it would be postponing the 2021 World Seed Congress in Barcelona until 2022. After closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation in Spain and conducting a site visit to Barcelona with its Spanish National Organizing Committee, congress organizer and venue management, ISF decided that there was still too much uncertainty to hold the in-person event.

“While we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel as vaccinations are taking place in many countries, there remains a lot of uncertainty in many places of the world,” ISF said in a letter to members. “What we do know for sure is that the health and well-being of our members, delegates, sponsors, exhibitors, partners and staff has been — and will always be — our highest priority.”
