Keen Project Solutions is pleased to announce the acquisition of EES Companies. This partnership merges two strong Engineering Procurement Construction Management (EPCM) teams, combining the engineering expertise of EES with Keen’s broad construction management proficiency. Investing in people, process and technology is vital to successfully growing a leading EPCM firm.

This acquisition strengthens Keen Project Solutions and provides opportunity for all employees
involved. Jeff Elwer, owner of EES, joins the Keen leadership team as the Director of Engineering bringing a depth of experience and leadership. Under Jeff’s guidance we will continue to drive innovation for our customers using the latest design technology, software and practices. His leadership will enable our growing engineering team to leverage technology to efficiently and accurately define project solutions.

Building a stronger company protects people; provides opportunity for employees which contributes to their livelihoods. Keen believes this acquisition also enhances our ability to safely design and deliver great projects. Keen has taken great care in bringing our organizations together integrating the entire EES engineering, project management and field construction team into our existing operations. At the forefront of all plans and discussions has been preserving Keen’s culture and affirming our mutual guiding principles.

The team we are building brings a unique mix of experience and proven performance. Seamless integration of our teams expands our capacity to serve customer needs through:

Teamwork from a very experienced team which aligns all parties to ensure that Keen is focused on customers’ end goals in delivering projects.

Lean practices instituted to enhance communication and project productivity by planning and executing work efficiently in design through construction.

Specialized expertise which sets Keen apart with customer-centric approaches such as our “seedsmanship” depth of knowledge in the seed industry.
Keen’s relationships in the seed, food, agriculture, manufacturing and commercial markets will benefit from this investment as the resources of EES allows Keen to build scale creating capacity to meet more of our customers’ needs. Keen’s network of design, subcontractor, supply and equipment vendor partners grows with this move. The company is confident our ability to leverage our collective relationships in the future will better serve customers.
