At the American Seed Trade Association (ASTA)’s Annual Vegetable and Flower Seed Conference in Orlando, Florida, Ric Dunkle, senior director of Seed Health and Trade of ASTA, sits down with Julie Deering. Dunkle gives us a rundown on the new Seed Science Foundation, which combines the American Seed Research Foundation and the National Council of Commercial Plant Breeders. He says that this new foundation wants to be more proactive to partner with other groups to promote research, and they are developing research matter experts through the Seed Science Foundation’s board.
