At the American Seed Trade Association (ASTA)’s Annual Vegetable and Flower Seed Conference in Orlando, Florida, Ric Dunkle, senior director of Seed Health and Trade of ASTA, sits down with Julie Deering. Dunkle discusses some of the latest phytosanitary issues he sees, including getting phytosanitary certifications and increases in regulations globally. He says as more regulations pop up for seed concerning phytosanitary issues, the more unnecessary testing and mitigations are required.
