Ceres Global Ag Corp. Announces Pending Departure of CFO and Appointment of Interim CFO

Ceres Global Ag Corp. announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Kyle Egbert, will leave Ceres in February, 2020 to pursue a new opportunity. Egbert’s leadership has played a key role in the Company’s growth over the past several years.

The company also announced that John Haug joined Ceres on January 13, 2020 and will replace Mr. Egbert as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, on an interim basis, effective February 1, 2020. Egbert will remain with the company through mid-February, 2020 to ensure a smooth and effective transition. Haug has over 30 years of financial and operational experience in the commodity sector. Most recently, Haug led the finance and accounting function for Cargill, Incorporated’s energy, transportation, metals and financial services businesses, where he successfully integrated three large international groups across North America, Europe and Asia to streamline and improve efficiency and control. The company will begin its search for a permanent Chief Financial Officer in the near future.
