Gro Alliance announces it has promoted John Endsley to Director, Soybean Division. Endsley previously held the role of Soybean Division Manager.
Endsley joined Gro Alliance in 2016 and has led the company’s soybean seed production and conditioning business expansion. In 2020, Gro Alliance added custom breeding services in the form of single-row increases, breeder seed increases and small plot production making it one of the only companies in the U.S. to offer custom soybean breeding and production services from 00 to 4.7 maturity.
“John’s expertise in team-building, agronomy and seed quality has been a major factor in the growth and success of our soybean seed division,” says Jim Schweigert, president of Gro Alliance. “Adding the additional custom breeding services allows us to be an integral part of our clients’ entire supply chain from variety development to large scale production.”
Prior to joining Gro Alliance in 2016, Endsley served as the site manager for both Monsanto’s Stonington, Ill., and Mason City, Ill., soybean seed facilities. There, he was instrumental in overseeing seed production for the commercial launches of both Roundy Ready 2 Yield and Roundup Ready 2 XtendTM soybeans.
