Bayer Announces Leadership Changes

Effective Feb. 1, 2015, Garth Hodges, will assume the role as vice president of marketing and business development within Bayer CropScience Inc. based out of Calgary, Alberta.
Hodges, currently global head of Bayer CropScience’s business development and licensing department based in Monheim, Germany, replaces Al Driver, who was recently appointed as the new president and CEO of Bayer CropScience Inc. effective Jan. 1, 2015.
“Garth brings a tremendous wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Canadian team,” says Driver. “Having held several positions throughout his career with Bayer and its parent companies spanning three decades, he has a solid understanding of the complexities of modern agriculture.”
Hodges previously led the global oilseeds and wheat seeds and traits business, based in Calgary, from 2002 to 2011.
