Ellen Sparry, president of the Canadian Seed Trade Association and a candidate for the inaugural Seeds Canada board of directors, says a national seed organization is likely still moving forward, albeit without the participation of the Canadian Seed Grower’s Association. Last month, CSGA members voted down a proposal to amalgamate with the industry’s other seed associations to form Seeds Canada.
