Computomics Moves to a New Location

Fiscal year 2015 global revenues in the crop protection and seeds & traits markets.

As of July 1, 2020, Computomics moved to their new location in Tübingen.

This newly-constructed office building called “Western Point” is built on a former freight yard area in close proximity to the old town center of Tübingen and, naturally, the main train station. The offices are located in a 7-story tower which was built in a wood-concrete hybrid construction.

The whole building has been designed using local, renewable resources. It includes a solar panel construction mounted on wood that is the first of its kind in Germany. Every landing has a wall populated with live plants, right across from the elevators. This eco-friendly environment contributes to the energy-saving ventilation system.

Dr. Sebastian Schultheiss, Computomics’ Managing Director, is excited about the new offices: “With this move to a new and eco-friendly building, our employees will have an improved working atmosphere, a faster commute and will be able to serve our customers even better.

“We are looking forward to welcoming our customers and partners at our new location, which has been sized for future growth.”
