Vilmorin-Mikado announced its celebration of 40 years in the United States according to a release. To celebrate the past 40 years, Vilmorin-Mikado shared a celebratory timeline.
In 1983, Vilmorin Inc. first started to distribute products in American territory. Only one representative covered all of America until 1989 when the separated East and West coasts because of an increase in business.
Business continued to increase and in 2013 Vilmorin-North America was created and Shamrock Seed company, in Salinas, California, was acquired. This acquisition contributed to Vilmorin success.
A few years later in 2016, Vilmorin and Mikado merged and changed the group configuration. In 2021, the Vilmorin-Mikado subsidiary in the United States became Vilmorin-Mikado USA.
Now to catch up to the present. In 2023, Vilmorin-Mikado is still successful, continuing to expand while also opening a new research station, located in Gilroy, California. Vilmorin-Mikado is proud to be celebrating 40 years in the United States and is looking forward to 40 more.
