Signing Off from ASTA’s FCSC, With Thanks!

North America’s biggest seed industry event of the year, the American Seed Trade Association’s Field Crop Seed Convention, officially wrapped up today after four jam-packed days in Orlando, Florida.

Throughout the convention, Seed World U.S.’ home base was the Seed World Media Center, powered by Corteva Agriscience. Located front and center in the foyer just outside the Seed Expo tradeshow doors, the Media Center was a buzz of activity all week.

Whether you’re looking to relive the Field Crop Seed Convention’s learning and fun or you missed Orlando and are looking to experience highlights now, we’ve got you covered. We’re pleased to have captured many of the Convention’s key take-away moments and most important industry perspectives via exclusive interviews conducted all week. You’ve already seen and read some of our live coverage in our Seed World Daily newsletters earlier this week. Keep checking our website (www.seedworld.com) and your Seed World newsletters for much more great content and key take-aways from Orlando.

We’re delighted to have made new connections, built memories with old friends, and had a ton of fun and learning along the way. If we missed you, please reach out!

As we sign off from Orlando, a final nod of thanks to Corteva Agriscience for partnering with Seed World Group on the Seed World Media Centre. We appreciate their commitment to an informed, effective seed industry!

On the subject of thanks, big thanks and kudos to the organizers of ASTA’s FCSC. The event was productive, informative and well-planned. Attendee numbers were down this year for multiple reasons: company belt-tightening, a tougher marketplace, people’s natural resistance to the unknown, travel complications for people used to driving to Chicago, and more. Assuming ASTA opts to once again host in Orlando next year, we’d encourage anyone who skipped Orlando this year to join us next year. As we said in frequently throughout this week, there really is no replacement for face-to-face.
