As countries improve their seed sectors, farmers gain greater access to improved varieties, become more productive, and participate more actively in commercial agriculture. These developments create opportunities for U.S. seed companies through partnerships, technology transfer, licensing agreements, training programs, and market expansion.
This is where institutions such as the Seed Science Center at Iowa State University play an important role. For more than four decades, the Center’s global programs have served as a bridge connecting U.S. seed companies with emerging opportunities around the world.
