Kiekebusch has participated actively in the development of the Argentine biotech regulatory framework. He coordinated the SAA biotech working group during 2013 and 2014. He was responsible for planting the first-ever transgenic corn research trial and obtained the first commercial corn event approval in Latin America. Kiekebusch was a member of the board of directors at Syngenta Argentina, as well as for Latin America, and also a member of the Global Regulatory Management Team.
